Designed for run-and-gun video creators and live streamers, the YELANGU MIC11 Dual-Capsule Compact Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone offers a cost-effective solution to help your work sound a lot better when recording on a DSLR/mirrorless camera, camcorder, iOS/Android smartphone/tablet, or portable audio recorder. It features a dual-capsule design with one capsule focused on the subject in front of the mic and a second aimed at the rear, allowing it to pick up audio from the camera operator/interviewer/journalist filming the scene.

This lightweight shotgun microphone with robust, all-metal construction is equipped with a shockmount that reduces vibrations and handling noise, and a cold-shoe adapter for easy mounting on your camera or to a smartphone clamp. A 1/4″ thread under the shoe adapter enables you to mount the mic on a tripod. With plug-and-play operation and no battery required, the MIC11 is easy to use right out of the box, allowing you to immediately start recording your YouTube videos, Facebook Live streams, and interviews, at home or on the go.

Both the front and back capsules feature a cardioid pickup pattern that focuses the audio capture directly in front of the mics while rejecting distracting sounds in the backgroundyielding a significantly improved sound compared to the built-in mics on your camera/phone. A switch lets you choose between using both capsules simultaneously or just the one in the front. A second switch is used to configure the mic for operation with either a camera or a smartphone/tablet equipped with a headphone jack.

Two foam windscreens and two furry windscreens are provided to reduce wind noise when moving the mic or during outdoors shoots.
